Most people say that it's a place to come home to, a legend in its own time. For us it is home and for the past 12 years we have been sharing it with people just like you - travelers from all over the world.

We like to think that at this stage we know what you want. These are some of the things we have learnt:

There's a lovely lively bar which has certainly seen some great revelry in its time. Our stunning tropical pool is a buzzy spot in the summer months when a gorgeous poolside cafe offers decidedly decadent refreshments (including divine pizzas!). And every day we have some sort of free activity so you can chill and meet the rest of the gang.

And for you, the quieter ones, Buccaneers is a haven of tranquility and natural delights.

Ebenezer Bed & Breakfast - Hotel

We have five comfortable, individually-decorated twin and double rooms and a self-catering flat (sleeps 3). All with shower en-suite. Colour TVs with M-Net, tea and coffee making facilities. Comfortable guest lounge and superb English breakfasts.

Grahamstown Guest House - Hostel

The Colonel Graham Guest House comprises three separate buildings all situated on the same complex. There are eleven rooms in total offering either Bed and Breakfast or Self Catering options. Ideal for either individual or group bookings.

KHOISAN COTTAGE

Main bedroom with queen size bed. Inter-leading living room with double bunk bed. The kitchenette facilities include microwave, fridge, toaster, electric frying pan, kettle, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom is fully tiled with shower. Covered verandah leading onto private garden. Undercover parking. Security alarm. Secure off-street parking is available.

This unit is ideal for a family of four.

COLONEL?S HOUSE

This house offers two twin en-suite rooms and two double en-suite rooms each with their own security alarm. All rooms have private outside entrances. This cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with open plan living/dining area as well as a private garden and an undercover verandah/braai facility. Secure off-street parking is available.

These rooms can be reserved separately on a Bed & Breakfast basis or the whole cottage can be booked with self catering being an option. Ideal for a group booking of 6-8 people.

LANSDOWNE HOUSE

This unit has six self contained units offering a choice of Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering. All units have either queen size or twin beds and fully tiled bathrooms. The kitchenettes include a microwave oven, fridge, toaster, electric frying pan, kettle, crockery and cutlery. All units have private outside entrances as well as secure off street parking. Security alarms in each unit.

Parrot Peak Inn - Hotel

Relax and enjoy the comfort of individually decorated en-suite bedrooms. Safe off street parking is available.

A Full English Breakfast is served daily between 6.45am and 8.30 am. in the sunny dining room. The tranquil atmosphere at breakfast provides a wonderful start to your day. Should you require breakfast earlier or are on a special diet i.e. vegetarian, please make the necessary arrangements when you arrive. At an additional charge dinner is served on request.

Check-out is 11am. Arrangements can be made should you require a later time.

Sugarshack Backpackers - Hostel

The Sugarshack is nestled in the sand dunes and seabush of East Londons' Eastern Beach. It is within spitting distance of the golden sand and pounding surf yet only 2 minutes walk from the main bus/coach drop off, pubs (even closer), restaurants and popular night clubs. It is most likely the best located backpacker lodge in South Africa if not the world! Yes its true, fall asleep to the sound of the ocean for as little as R60.00 per night (approx 10$)
