The Ocean is cold

The ocean waters of Cape Town, the South Atlantic, are very cold. Camps Bay, Table Bay, Clifton and the peninsular waters are very cold, often below 10 Celsius. False Bay waters are generally warmer, sometimes reaching temperatures around the low 20s in summer and therefore more agreeable for a quick dip.

The guest house has a huge, crystal clear pool adjacent to a thatched lapa. Guests can enjoy a scrumptious breakfast on the terrace or in the dining room.

We will assist you in arranging any excursions or transfers. We are close to "The Cradle of Humankind" a World Heritage Site. Visit the Maropeng visitor centre and either absail, or be taken on a guided tour through fossil filled caves.

Shopping malls, nurseries and kid?s entertainment are also close by. The guest house's natural surroundings makes it the perfect place for bird watching.
